This bluegrass style banjo was built using the best curly maple I could find.  It has a maple pot with a Tennessee 20 tone ring.

The wooden binding on the neck and resonator is made of dogwood and the side markers are cocobolo.

The ebony head sock features extensive custom inlays by Craig Lavin (www.handcraftinlay.com).

Also, this banjo has a reversed truss rod that is accessed through the end of the neck. This way, you don’t have a truss rod cover competing with the inlay work.
